How to Sell on Shopi

1. Create an Account

To start selling, sign up for a free Shopi account. Just provide your name, email address, and phone number. Once your email or phone number is verified, you can log in to your seller dashboard.

2. Set Up Your Shop

Head over to the My Shop section in your dashboard. Add your shop name, logo (optional), business location, and a short description about what you sell. This helps build trust and attract more buyers.

3. Add Products

Use our easy product upload form to add your items. Include clear titles, detailed descriptions, high-quality images, category, price, and stock levels. You can also bulk-upload using CSV if you have many products.

4. Set Your Delivery Options

Choose whether you want to offer local delivery (e.g., via boda, matatu services, or courier) or have customers pick up directly from your shop. Shopi will support courier integrations in the future for faster delivery.

5. Manage Orders

Once an order is placed, you'll receive a notification via email or SMS. Check your dashboard to view order details, customer info, and update delivery status.

6. Get Paid

Payments are made securely via M-PESA or bank transfer. You’ll receive your earnings after the buyer confirms receipt or after a fixed number of days.
